What Students Say
Tatiana teaches two of my children (ages 7 and 4) and is doing a terrific job. She has forged a strong personal connection with each of them—especially impressive since my younger one began lessons with her virtually during the pandemic!—which is so important for the teacher-student relationship. She knows exactly when to introduce new skills for my children to learn and when to encourage them to step back and enjoy using what they've already learned. I was a serious violinist myself as a child and am delighted by my children's progress and, perhaps more importantly, their increasing love of music under Tatiana's tutelage. Big thumbs up from our family!

-- Emilian D,student
Dr. Tatiana has been teaching violin to three of my children. She has an impressive ability to tailor her teaching to their different personalities and ages. They are learning many musical and life skills while enjoying their studies with her.
-- Nita V, parent
I worked with Dr. Tatiana for around three years, and I had an amazing time every single day. She is so dedicated to her work and loves encouraging her students to develop a strong passion for music. If given the chance, I would love to have her as an instructor again.
-- Kimani D, student
Tatiana began working with my daughter at the age of 4. She has developed a strong connection with my daughter. Tatiana is a fun and patient teacher with a strong sense of how to build violin skills, as well as music reading skills and general music appreciation. My daughter looks forward to taking a lesson each week. The lesson time is very well focused and structured to support continued learning each week.
-- Travis P, parent
Our daughter enjoys her violin classes tremendously: they are very engaging and well structured. We are very impressed with the progress she has made within just a couple of months since she started working with Dr. Tatiana. We also love that our girl learns about things that go well beyond violin technique, such as various musical genres and styles, composers, and the arts in general. We highly recommend Dr. Tatiana!
-- Jessica K, parent
My son really enjoys learning the violin with Dr. Tatiana. She is very patient with him, and her teaching methods have allowed him to learn the violin with joy! By the third lesson, my son was already able to read the basic violin notes G, D, A, and E, use the bow correctly, count the tempo, and more.
